How it works

MaterialsBroker.com is a broker, not a marketplace. Every transaction goes through us. We do not warehouse, haul or manufacture. We find the buyer, agree the price with both sides and coordinate the move.

  1. Submit itTell us what you have: material, quantity, location, photos.
  2. Get an offerWe match your inventory with buyers who already purchase that category.
  3. Get it goneBuyer pickup or freight is arranged. You do not list, haggle or haul.
  4. Get paidDead inventory becomes working capital.

For sellers

Contractors, distributors, manufacturers, developers and warehouses hold material they will never use: job leftovers, canceled orders, overstock, discontinued lines. It ties up cash and floor space.

  1. Submit it. Material, quantity, condition, location, a need-gone-by date and a few photos. It takes a few minutes.
  2. We review it. The broker desk contacts you to confirm details and talk about price expectations.
  3. We find the buyer. Your material goes to buyers who already purchase that category within reach of your location. It may also be listed in our inventory, showing city and state only.
  4. We coordinate the move. Buyer pickup or freight is arranged around your dock, forklift and hours.
  5. You get paid.[PLACEHOLDER: payment timing and method]

Your name, company and address are never shown to buyers or the public. They are released to the buyer only once a deal is agreed and pickup has to be arranged.

Get an offer

For buyers

Buyers get unused, identifiable material at a discount to normal channels, close enough to pick up.

  1. Register. Tell us your categories, home ZIP, pickup radius and deal size.
  2. Get matched. When a lot fits, you get an alert by email, text or both. Most material moves this way before it is ever posted.
  3. Request a price or make an offer. Every lot page has one form. It reaches the broker desk, not the seller.
  4. Pick it up. Once a deal is agreed we release the pickup address and coordinate timing, or arrange freight.
