Roofing & envelope

Roofing and envelope is single-ply membrane, polyiso, cover board, metal panels and insulated metal panels, and roofers buy surplus because jobs finish under the takeoff and full rolls and bundles come back unopened. Target prices run about 20% below market on everything except insulated metal panels, which are quoted.

What to include when you ask for roofing & envelope

Give the manufacturer, thickness, color and roll or board size, plus the total square footage. Typical lots are four or more rolls of membrane, a truckload of polyiso or cover board, 1,500 lf of metal panel and 500 sq ft of insulated panel. Tell us whether a different color or facer works and whether you can use reclaimed polyiso.
