Solar & storage: sizes, grades and specifications
Modules are new Tier 1 mono PERC, TOPCon and bifacial, sold by the pallet of roughly 31 to 37 panels, in 400 to 430 W, 430 to 460 W and 540 to 580 W commercial ratings. Inverters cover commercial string units at 50 to 125 kW, string units at 7 to 11 kW, microinverters by the case, hybrid inverters and optimizers. Battery systems are LFP, new in crate, in 10 to 15 kWh units and 100 to 250 kWh commercial cabinets.
What to include when you ask for solar & storage
Give the wattage or kW rating, the quantity, and the brand and model you are designing around, since modules and inverters have to pair. Typical lots are two or more pallets of modules, several inverters, or one or more battery units. Tell us whether a different manufacturer at the same rating works, and whether you need the datasheets and warranty documentation with the material.
